Good afternoon DailyOutFitness Friends!

Having gone from very confused in the gym, to now very well researched, I find this question to be one of the most common.

The answer is: it depends.

I know that is not always the best thing to hear, but truthfully, if you are looking into weightlifting for the first time, you have to give both a shot. That being said, if this is your first time setting foot in a gym, you are most likely going to want to find a lower weight to begin with. However, if you are fairly experienced at the gym, whether you are rotating between maxing out at a high weight or reaching exhaustion in high rep is going to depend on your strength, goals, and knowledge.

And don't forget...... lifting is not for everyone! Stay tuned for a cardio post! :)

Have a wonderful day, friends!
